Gabriel joined the team in 2004 fresh from working abroad building giant greenhouses, he also comes from an agricultural background whilst studying sailing and marine engineering, he is still keen to get out on the water at any opportunity. Gabriel quickly found that the hard-working attitude instilled in farming and the skillset from the marine industry were ideally suited to building marquees.
After 14 years in the business each year presents new opportunities to fine tune our systems and introduce new stock, last year he was excited to import our first Stretch Tent from South Africa. The year before he commissioned the building of our one-off Cathedral marquee, he is always keen to be driving the business forward. He spends the majority of his time organising staff and jobs and liaising with clients so rarely gets the opportunity to go on site any more.
He knows the business and industry inside out, having started as a sledge hammer operator and working up to his current position. This is crucial when organising a big team and running multiple jobs at once.
