When planning a wedding it’s important to establish a budget from the beginning – Especially with the current cost of living crisis. Fortunately, marquee weddings provide a lot of options for creating an event to suit your budget.
We’ve created this useful guide to the different costs of an average marquee wedding. As well as what additional extras will need to be factored in, such as furniture, lighting and linings.
We want to make sure you are spending within your budget and, unlike most marquee companies, we have published our price list so that you can compare our prices against others.
Traditional Marquees
Our Traditional style marquees with an approximate size of 9m x 13.5m that can seat 80, or can stand 162 along with two internal poles will cost £960. The most substantial price we have listed is our 15m x 36m that can seat 450 or stand 722 along with five internal poles that will cost £3388.
Frame Marquees
If you are looking for a freestanding marquee to create extra space for your event, then our Frame marquees are perfect. Our frame marquees range from £151 to £3156, with seating ranging from 10 to 2000. Our 9m x 12m frame marquee, which seat 90 or can stand 144, will cost £840.
Sailcloth Marquees
Made from a warm canvas effect PVC, our Sailcloth style marquees are an authentic and elegant addition to any event. Our sail cloth marquees range from £1805 to £2921, with seating ranging from 130 to 240.
Stretch Tents
With their beautiful flowing lines, stretch tents have a very light touch in both colour and structure, seeming to float above the ground. They’re a great way of offering slightly less formal cover. The maximum size is 10m x 15m with the sides up which can accommodate up to 200 people standing and will cost £1200.
Bell Tents
Once you’ve decided on a marquee and can stretch your budget further, why not consider hiring canvas bell tents for extra wedding accommodation? Southern Bells offer canvas bell tents from £250 to circa £350 per tent, with set up and dismantle included in the price.
Marquee Heating Hire
Depending on the time of year your event takes place, you might need a high-quality heating system. We have different heating options available to make sure you and your guests are warm, comfortable, and cosy, even in the heart of winter.
Flooring
You will need to budget in for the flooring at a marquee wedding. We can provide a sturdy, durable and interlocking floor, level platform, carpeted flooring or dance floor in different styles and colours.
